Catriona MacKenzie

PIANO

Catriona Mackenzie is a concert pianist originally from the Highlands of Scotland. Recent concert highlights include recitals in King’s Place, The Elgar Room, St John’s Smith Square, The Usher Hall, and St Giles’ cathedral as well as concerto appearances with the Edinburgh City Orchestra, Inverness Symphony Orchestra, and the Highland Chamber Orchestra. In 2024 she was an active participant of Klaipeda Piano Masters, where she played recitals in 5 concert halls across Lithuania. She is active as a chamber musician and song pianist and is a prize winner of numerous competitions across both fields, and is a 2025 Leeds Song Young Artist.  

Catriona recently graduated with an MA degree with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London where she studied with Anna Tilbrook. Furthermore, she was awarded an additional diploma for her final recital mark. She was generously supported by the Royal Academy of Music, The Duncraig Educational Trust, The Sir James Caird Scholarship, The Cross Trust, and The Dewar Awards. Catriona previously studied with Malcolm Martineau, Gintaras Janusevicius, and James Willshire. She is currently a scholarship student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on the Artist Diploma course.
